An exhaustively-researched and well-written history of phone phreaking. The author's done a great job here -- this is probably the best non-fiction I've read in a few years.
The Exploding the Phone web site is well worth checking out -- it has most of the source documents for the book, and the author's making-of presentation from HoPE.
