I've just found an interesting-looking French blog. My French is rather rusty, so I'd prefer to read its content through an automated translation service like Babelfish (automated translation doesn't yet do a great job, but it's easier for me to read the Babelfish translation and work out what it's meant to say than translate from the French myself).

I can easily translate a web page via Babelfish; it's even easier with some carefully-arranged smart bookmarks. However, if I want to subscribe to the page's RSS feed, there's currently no way of translating that. I'd like a web service that would provide a translated version of an RSS feed, altering language markup appropriately and adding a link to the original version. This might be a good application of my RSS proxy idea.
