If I'm building a playlist, I'd like to be able to say to ROX-Filer "files dropped in this window should be symlinked, not copied, and I'd like numbers prefixed to the names in the order I dropped them", or "files dropped in this window should be passed through this app to convert them to oggs". I suspect you'd end up just switching between two or three preset behaviours.
