KDE's Konqueror file manager works very nicely as a web browser, but in order to install it it's necessary to install all of kdelibs and kdebase, most of which isn't relevant if you just want the web browser bits. It would be nice if somebody maintained a patch to kdelibs/kdebase that made it only build and install the parts necessary for web browsing. This would hopefully entail not building the file-browsing view in Konqueror at all; it would also default to non-KDE apps for things like viewing text files.

It also be nice to have a decent embeddable text view for Konqueror; the existing doesn't cope with middle-button clicks, and has editor-style scrolling behaviour.
