Bernard Cornwell turns his attention to 14th-century France, and the start of the Hundred Years' War. It's a good story, with Cornwell frequently failing to resist the temptation to show off interesting bits of historical trivia. (And handily I found the first and third books in a charity shop, so I've only got one more to buy...)
