Sort of a post-war Spanish -- and somewhat simplified -- version of "The Quincunx". Good stuff. Surprisingly dark in places.
I thought this was a fairly workmanlike translation with a few particularly rough patches: while the Spanish idiom is mostly translated literally, there were several obviously-British bits of phrasing that felt awkward.
