Biography of Paul Erdös, famously eccentric mathematician. This fits the regular popular-science model perfectly in that the author frequently wanders off into descriptions of other related mathematical subjects. It's quite funny in places, but I didn't find it especially compelling -- perhaps because the author shies away from describing the mathematics in enough detail to keep me interested! A reasonable charity-shop buy.
