While published under the Corgi Science Fiction label, not all of the stories in this collection are what I'd call SF, and the science rarely plays the leading role in any of the stories. Bradbury's very good at producing short evocative stories that describe the feel of a situation rather than the events that occur in it; most of this book falls into that category. This might explain why didn't enjoy this book that much; it's not that it was bad — on the contrary, some of the stories were excellent — it's just that I didn't find most of the stories that interesting.

Probably a good collection if you're a Bradbury fan. If, like me, you're more of the Asimov/Clarke persuasion, then borrow it from the library rather than buying it.
